A Latin Playlist

The perfect playlist, for the busiest and weirdest week. These are the sounds circling in my veins.

A bit of patriotism: Made in Puerto Rico

About sending flowers to someone in your dreams…

My favorite on this list. “That my eyes may awake with the light of your gaze. I ask of God. That is I die, I die of love, and if I fall in love, it will be with you; and that this heart may be your voice’s; that my soul may not grow tired of loving you. A second more of life, I ask of God.”

“My heart is hanging in your hands”– I remember the first time I heard this, I was driving and trying to remember the lyrics so I could look it up later. I fell in love with its poetry.

Drops of sweet water

Who told you that I don’t love you anymore?

I cry for you. (I always try to do the W&Y rap; mom looks at my like I am a crazy gangster)

Grew up with this man’s poetry.

Going back to PR with Calle 13, to La Perla

What a beauitful moon…

Blessed be your light- gorgeous song.
