Final Exams

By: Gabriela Yareliz

I am done. No more final exams. I took my final final. 🙂 I am feeling great. Now, I must start doing what I dislike most, going to stores. It is that season. This morning, I thought no buses were running and I got all scared until some ghetto bus with what looked like Latin written in its header screen pulled up, and a hispanic driver in a beanie said, “Good morning!” Strange- but miraculous.

Now, I have free time! I have a stack of books waiting for me at the library. I already read one book called Praying for Strangers by River Jordan. It was excellent.

In it was a quote I’d like to share:

“The greatest tragedy of life is not unanswered prayer, buy unoffered prayer.”         F.B. Meyer

And I found these other ones:

“The reason why we obtain no more in prayer is because we expect no more. God usually answers us according to our own hearts.”         Richard Alleine

“Effective prayer is prayer that attains what it seeks. It is prayer that moves God, effecting its end.”  Charles Finney

Prayer- it is what moves the hand that moves the universe :)(anonymous?)

I also must add that the little town of Williston looks amazing in the dark, all decorated. 🙂 A magical Christmas wonderland.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!
