Quotes from Sofia Coppola’s Lost in Translation

Life may not be a Sofia Coppola movie, but there are strangers who become friends and leave their mark.-Gabriela Yareliz

Bob: Can you keep a secret? I’m trying to organize a prison break. I’m looking for, like, an accomplice. We have to first get out of this bar, then the hotel, then the city, and then the country. Are you in or you out?

Charlotte: I’m in. I’ll go pack my stuff.

The probability of finding love

By: Gabriela Yareliz
Featured on Yahoo! is an article about a man who wrote a research paper about the odds of finding his soulmate in London. He was left with a percentage that left him with 26 women. Hilariously, he is marrying this week, despite his unfavorable odds.

If he thought his odds were low, try the new stats from Adventist World Magazine, 1:407 ratio of SDAs to non-SDAs. This is why we leave things to God and providence.

“The beauty of love is that it is not the fruit of calculation.” Federico Moccia

For Present Thought

Lead me in Thy truth, and teach me: for Thou art the God of my salvation; on Thee do I wait all the day. Psalm 25:5

For with Thee is the fountain of life; in Thy light shall we see light. Psalm 36:9

Commit thy way unto The Lord, trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass. Psalm 37:5 Seek for God and Truth, always. Know that God knows your deepest desires and the dreams He has placed within your soul.

Just as He knows your inner being, He will provide for you. He sees eternity; He wants your well being.

This week, don’t forget to live. Meet a stranger, try something new, smell the roses, literally.

Rest in His hands knowing He has plans for you. Plans to prosper you and give you a life, that when you reach the end, you will see many of His purposes.

Let us always be grateful and sensitive to when God speaks to us. Sometimes the slightest thing is a wink from the Almighty.
