Songs, soup and the girls in the polos

By: Gabriela Yareliz
Call me an idiot, but yesterday I prepared some Campbell’s soup for myself. Tomato. “Umm-umm good”? Not really. I forgot to add the can of water and let me tell you, that soup is jacked up with so much sodium and sugar. It was disgusting. I realized my mistake but then it clicked that, if that tomato paste in a can tastes that bad alone, why should I add water to it? It’s lethal. Gross. Fair warning to the public.
Whew-
Also, on Tuesday, on a happier note- I saw on my friend’s TV, Nathan Morris saying you “can’t make love to a rap music…” He said this as a response to the Daily Buzz host interviewing him congratulating Boyz II Men on their new album. It has been forever since they released music and it’s “smooth” as they always are… This is exciting. Their new album is called Twenty, it has old hits and new stuff…

And lastly, Leslie Ludy was giving a talk to young women yesterday on the radio (Moody Radio) about being set apart and girl and guy politics… I found this to be interesting- this is where many of us, women, fail.
Dress, modesty, flirting and even sharing thoughts?
It gets complicated. Long gone are the days of Barney’s “let’s be friends.”
And so, because I need this too, I’ll let her explain it:
This one is for the girls in the polos- 😉

Ahh, the guard your heart because out of it come the issues of life- easier said than done right? Because the heart is deceitful above all things. That is also the reason why our relationship with God cannot be based on feeling. No matter how hard it sounds, “All things are possible for those who believe.”

So meet your deadlines, pray, seek, find and don’t eat canned or processed soup. LETHAL.
I’m done and off.
