  1. I really like and admire Tony Evans but in my estimation the very act of letting God into your heart is consecration. Then the real work begins… (I would think that someone who would say ‘God change me’ already has accepted God, correct?)

    1. This is true, but I think he is referring to the fact that many time, half heartedly we tell to change us but there are sins and other things we don’t want to let go of. God needs us to surrender all. God doesn’t work based on our terms. He states that we need to take the first step and then God begins the process of changing us. Often time, our own nature, unwillingness and selfishness can stand in the way.
