We thought autumn would be eternal in these parts, or at least we hoped it would be.

Storm Jonas said, “Nah.”

Autumn treated us well. Mild temperatures and pretty colors.

The storm ended up being a lot more impressive than I had initially given it credit for. My Michigan childhood fed my skepticism.  It couldn’t be that bad… Midwest bad… It was.

Here are some photos from my little adventures. I went as far as my little feet and snow allowed.
