We thought autumn would be eternal in these parts, or at least we hoped it would be.
Storm Jonas said, “Nah.”
Autumn treated us well. Mild temperatures and pretty colors.



I love this photo. Oh, how I love the moon!

The storm ended up being a lot more impressive than I had initially given it credit for. My Michigan childhood fed my skepticism. Â It couldn’t be that bad… Midwest bad… It was.
Here are some photos from my little adventures. I went as far as my little feet and snow allowed.

We woke up to blue skies and fresh, untouched snow.


Water was frozen in the most beautiful designs.

Frozen water could also be found in the most unexpected places…


Everything green had a glittery white cape.




New York City was in disguise.




But even under inches and inches of snow, if you look close enough, the City’s quirkiness always shines through.
